Missour was an odd little town. It had grown quite prosperous due to the local mining of minerals nearby so had what seemed like an over abundance of flashy neon signs and hotels and cafes. It was certainly the smartest little town I passed through in Morocco. Not having anything much of interest for me I headed on towards Midelt.
The road from Missour to Midelt has a pretty hard slog against a heavy wind and lashing rain. The scenery was fairly mundane, being on a flat plateau between two mountain ranges, not helped by the weather and I must admit to feeling a bit not interested.
I had come to get away from this sort of weather! So after one quick night in a campsite near Midelt I headed directly south again towards the desert to avoid the howling winds and lashing rains. |
