Chris
and Agata arrived in their land rover tomb raider and it was great
to finally meet up after sending emails backwards and forwards for
so long. Zurich seemed nice enough from what little I saw of it.
landy looking cool as we meet for the first time...
their lovely flat in Zurich.
I followed them back to their lovely flat and they looked after me extremely
well during the couple of days I stayed with them. Chris is an
English guy, married to Agata, who is Polish, and they have both
worked in Zurich for the last few years. It was lovely to have
somewhere welcoming to stay.
Chris & Agata my kind hosts...
Not a bad nieghbourhood...
I
caught up on some much needed sleep and spent most of my time chuckling
over the fact that every Swiss building or house must by law have access
to or include its own nuclear bunker. Coming from Hackney that couldn't
keep it's streets clean or offer basic council services like a noise
control officer it all seemed a bit excessive. Take the Zu off the
front of Zurich and it gives you a good idea of what the place is like...
