At the top of the cliff were a large number of mountain bikers, mostly French it seemed. They were quite friendly much to Jo and Muna's horror as they had backpacked for the last year through West Africa and been ignored by every French person they had meet.

...sun starting to set

Soon afterwards you get to Teloue and the sealed road up to the top of the Tizi n Tichka pass. the sun was setting and with snow around it made for a spectacular decent down towards Marrakech. It would have been more spectacular if we had hit the man and his donkey cart stuck on the road after dark but luckily my razor sharp reflexes at the steering wheel saved the day!

...Marrakech

And so a dark arrival into Marrakech where I made a horrible fuck at a roundabout and had to put on my best 'stupid kiwi prat' accent to avoid handing over a large wad of dirhams to the patrolling policeman: "AH JEEZ MATE.... Sorry 'bout that one ah! Dah ya speak any unglish mate?"

He eventually got sick of me and waved me away.
