After a long days drive we pulled into the campsite at Foum El-Oued about 20km south of the large city of Laayoune.

After a good nights sleep it was another long slog in the landy down to the city of Boujdour which provides a good excuse for lunch and a look at their beach.

Boujdour is a fairly new city, based on the nearby fishing ports, with a fairly windswept feel to it. It has a few nice cafes and everybody seemed friendly enough, but there's no real reason to stay around after a quick stop. But then sometimes I have my best experiences in supposed quick stop places....

And so it was on towards Dahkla with the sun becoming slightly stronger and the scenery even more sandy...
