After a pleasant 10 days in Dahkla we headed back up the same road, north this time, with a vague eye on the calendar as Chau had to catch her flight back home from Marrakech.

With the sun at our backs instead of in our eyes it was an enjoyable enough drive, helped by the half priced fuel in Western Sahara.

We stopped off in Sidi Ifni again for a few days and had a day trip slightly inland to the tiny oasis village of Abainou.

Here they have natural hot springs, and afterwards you can sit on the landy roof rack and watch the fighter jets take off and land from the nearby air force base.
