Certainly he was the best mechanic in Marrakech for me. We got on very well despite not sharing a common lanaguage and had some good laughs. His workers were also well trained and seemed to enjoy having the crazy kiwi bloke about.

His address is Ben Saaoud Khalil (his name), 184, Q.I Sidi Ghanem (Route de Safi) Marrakech. tel: 044 33 59 79/90 or Mobile 061 34 10 61

To get near here, find the main road out towards Casablanca and the campsite. When you are on this road (still inside Marrakech) you will come to a roundabout with a large traffic island in it and a McDonalds on the left hand corner. You need to turn left down this road so you pass McDonalds on your right hand side. This road is in theory the route to Safi but I never saw a sign to indicate this.

(If you get to the huge Marjane supermarket on your left you have gone to far, turn around and go back to the roundabout with McDonalds)

Continue down this road for about a km in which you should go over a bridge. After the bridge take about the second left and then a right onto the first road running paralellel to the main road- NOT immediatly after turning off, allow 50 metres or so. Your on the correct road now and so watch out for his place hidden down the alley way next to the old tyre factory on your left.

GPS 31deg 40.639'N 08deg 02.903'W (datum = WGS84 protocol=degrees, decimal minutes)

There was no hassles with the bill at the end of the work, he was very fair and honest and Samir confirmed that if he needed to buy some parts for you he would just pass on what price he paid.

So if you get stuck near Marrakech and need a good mechanic he is a good choice. He can fix all cars, 4x4's (Landies & Toyota's etc) and I would imagine motorbikes as well as dirt biking is his weekend hobby.
