As it was winter Tafroute was quite chilly, even during the day in the sun, so I decided heading south out of the Anti Atlas mountains was the key.

The main sealed roads head in all directions out of Tafroute except the south eastern route I wished to take. Luckily there seemed to be a piste running directly south.

So with a vague hint at where I was going I headed south over the hills, through a series of small villages until the asphalt ran out and turned into a piste.

This piste ran through a gorgeous riverbed and is one of the more picturesque places I saw in Morocco.
