Aware that I had to get some good landy shots for some articles in Land Rover World I explored the area around Akka to get some good desert photos.

This area, or better defined, the road along southern Morocco from Guelmim through Akka, Tata and onto Foum Zguid, is a real stunner. It's highly recommended as a road to drive as the scenery is awesome and it's quite lonely in places and so gives you a good desert 'feel'.

Some of the photos came out quite well and appear in the Jan 2005 issue of Land Rover World.

I spent quite a few days pottering around the villages near Tata also as the area is well worth exploring if you have the time.
