After finding the right turn off the piste proved to be a little stunner, complete with a tiny mountain pass.

The first part into Beni Tajjite was plain sailing and enjoyable along a smooth and clear piste.

I tried to hook up with the friends that I had made earlier in the trip, but they were sadly out of town.

So I carried on through Beni Tajjite and onto the main part of the piste as it swings east towards Bouarfa along a large valley. There is an old mine on top of one of the hills which is worth the 15km detour as the views are spectacular.
