These are a few more pictures from the old mining area. The piste continues along the valley and I guarantee you'll be a river crossing expert if you complete it. I counted 47 river crossings before giving up.

After completing the filming of the piste I headed further east to film the last piste to Figuig. Sadly the military had sealed off the area for some reason and I couldn't get through. So I headed back to Er Rachidia and my good friends for some more kind Moroccan hospitality.

They really are a lovely, kind and caring family and I felt able to relax which was nice after finishing all of my filming. Despite only Bouchra speaking english (and me no French, Arabic or Berber) we all managed to communicate well and I like to think they enjoyed having me stay.

Pictured on the right is the son of the family who is the same age as me. He is in the military and had trouble pronouncing 'Darrin' so called me John instead.
