Assa to Tan Tan

Length: 250km approx.

GPS: Please email in waypoint files if you have them, else they are available in Sahara Overland.

Notes: Rocky going mostly, hopefully lake beds are dry as then you get some respite in places. Asphalt from Msaid to Tan Tan. Worth doing if your in Morocco for an extended stay, for a quick trip there are better pistes.

There are a few other pistes you can link into as well. You can head north west or north east from Aouinet Torkoz (said as Awaynet Torkoz), or try the piste south of the Jebel Ouarkziz as shown on the IGN map detailed above.
